The convention is over and so is all the hoop la. I believe the AA is in the place it is now because of the greed and love of money.
Sad to say it will be bussiness as always. We can't change anything with all the greed and power hunger of the GB, but we can send a powerful message. Stop your tithes, no not the support to your local church. I read on the other blog that if give your tithes as offerings they can't take off the 10% that goes to General Headquarters.
We might not be able to change things with our opinions, but lets hit them where it going to hurt. In their pocket books!
Give your tithes as offerings or to the rescue mission, home for battered women, but Don't leave your local church dry.
Send the GB a message I started already.
PS: Take Del Campo he is General Board member, District Bishop and, Pastor. Thats three salaries if I am not mistaken. Plus $1,000.00's in expenses for traveling, eating and who knows what else. Its just not right!

What about $12,000.first class tickets to Europe for Sanchez And another $12,000 for Sam. They only fly first class when the pastors widows only received $50. a month.Its a fact folks.

I mean that mission field in italy is brutal. 2 nights in Rome, then off to Sicaly, eating all that italian food. Enjoying the local wine.
Its tough out in the mission field. Then their away from home having to suffer in a 5 star hotel, away from home. Only room service food, cable tv.
You can't even go to your own gym. They have to suffer by going to a hotel gym, and maybe get a massage to relieve all that stress from preaching for an hour.
Do you think its easy being forced to take a taxi?

Its not easy being on the national board. They really are sacrificing. If Sam was in the world, he could easily have his own crew selling oranges door to door. But he's using his talents, with a La Puente Bible School education to grow the church.

Sanchez, well, whats he good for? Hmmm, well, either way. He's sacrificing for us. He's leading us to smaller and smaller conventions. Afterall, a good Christian life is based on how many conventions you have been to.

Dang I've only been to one convention, guess that makes me bad.
Any ways I wouldn't go to any of them even if they where in my own backyard.
There's a better spriit of giving and sharing with family, and won't have to put up with a dud bishop crying and whinning for money.

Well I guess the dust has died down. Eddie and Sammy are back feeling like the cat that ate the mouse.

The Apostolic Man seems to think that women are only good for cooking and multiplying the church membership.
The Apostolic Man seems to think that women can and should only teach children, bqut not any adult classes that include men, much less teach ministers (who seem to think they know it all).
The Apostolic Man seems to think that the only ministry a woman can have is singing. When in fact there are many many ministries that we can contribute to. Pastors with this kind of mentality lack vision for their churches and they are passing this type of thought to Jr. when he takes over the church after Daddy retires. It's pretty pathetic.
I'm surprised they "let us" witness and give offering.
Most ministers in churches are so full of themselves that they believe that they know it all already and are not open to ANYTHING but what they already know.(which is not much) This is PART of the reason that churches ARE NOT growing spiritually.
It's really a shame that you can visit any church and some still have the ministers sitting on a platform as though they were gods. They sit up there looking down at everyone- uttering not a word of worship during the service- they just sit up there like they're dead. Oh except when THEY take the pulpit, then they want everyone to be running and jumping. All with their little bottle of oil ready to drown the next victim. Most of these ministers are so machistic that they would rather die in ignorance than ever be taught by a woman- it explains though why their wives usually have the type of spiritual lives that they do. Some of these wives do so many things behind their husband's back that if they found out- they'd die of shock!
I would like to see couples ministering together. The Ministry is not for the man alone. His wife should be a part of it. But I guess they don't include her because if they did, people would find out how most of these wives are treated at home.
Very few are the pastors who actually have vision for women to be used in their churches in different ministries. Very few. It's a shame.

10.Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
The pastors shall not be able to pastor anymore, they will not be able to feed themselves any more from scamming the flock. God will deliver the flock from their mouths, we will no longer be their meat.

I think our leaders are more in fault of members leaving the church as opposed to worldly things.
Why should the devil work so hard when the HGB is doing his job.
Well I just read an interesting essay from a non-pentecostal writer, that makes his living writing for gov’t agencies and non-profits on regligious sects and denominations.
The article was about women and their role in the Apostolic Assembly. He stated that the founder was married to a (white)baptist women and during that time there was a women that gave her life to Jesus and then returned to Mexico. There she met a man, last name Nava (which, if you grew up in the AA, you’d swear there is a statue of him somewhere) which she preached the gospel to and shared the oneness theology to him. Later this man came to the U.S. met with the founder and became partners in church planting(or baptized pastors with planted churches…not sure)and suddenly the founder died and who became in charge…you guessed it, Nava. He later started cutting back with the women in ministry, eventually cut ties with PAW(it’s believed that it was all him), amongst other things.
All this to say, this man only knew catholicism (he wasn’t a part of the Asuza street revival nor did he see the women that ministered there) and most likely built the AA on ideologies of the catholic church.

Azusa Street Revival? Are you kidding me? How can you "Revive" the Holy Ghost? How can God'd Spirit be "Revived"? Did God's spirit die?
Azusa Streeters are based on ignorance and emotion. It would help the whole world is Azusa Street Pentecostals were to pick up the Bible and read it.
